Iguaçu (map), passing through the center of the Brazilian city, following the Ponte Internacional da Amizade to the neighboring country. Public transport between Brazil and Paraguay runs from 7 am to 7 pm, daily

Argentina Public Transport - International

There are two public transport companies that make the route between Foz do Iguaçu – Brazil, leaving near the Urban Transport Terminal – TTU to the International Bus Station of Puerto Iguazú – Argentina, Cruceiro del Norte and Rio Uruguai, daily from 7 am to 7 pm.

Uber

You will find it almost impossible to find a ride on the app. Due to the high fees the company charges its drivers in Foz do Iguacu, most of them have ‘banned’ the giant Uber and are now operating on regional Apps such as ‘99’ e ‘rapidocar’, the latter being the most reliable and efficient. The process to join the app is very similar to Uber. You can download the apps on IOS & Android, register and start using it. The fees you pay is according to the address you have added to the app. The drivers do not like to change the ride course (unless added on to the app). They usually do not take rides to Argentina or Paraguay, if they do, always agree on a price beforehand.

Car Rentals

The biggest car rental companies are LOCALIZA, MOVIDA & UNIDAS.. Important to note that they STRICTLY DO NOT allow you to cross the border to Argentina or Paraguay with the cars. The cars are traced by GPS and there are huge fines if you do attempt to cross the border.
For you to cross the borders with a rental car you will need to find a company that issues the ‘Carta Verde’ (Green Pass). There is a local rental company called IGUFOZ that allows they cars to cross the borders and issues the ‘Carta Verde’
